Etienne Pradier

Etienne Pradier is a French-born, UK-based close-up magician with more than twenty-five years at the top of his profession. He holds Gold Star membership of The Magic Circle — a distinction shared by only around three hundred magicians worldwide — and has been named the Magic Circle's Magician of the Year. He has been booked repeatedly by the Royal Family, including the staff Christmas party at St James's Palace and performances at Windsor Castle for the then Prince of Wales. Other clients have included Johnny Depp, Rod Stewart, John Cleese, Bruce Forsyth and Raymond Blanc. He famously fooled Penn & Teller on Fool Us with a piece of pure card sleight of hand, placed third in the card magic category at the World Championships of Magic, and won the close-up category of the British Magical Championships. He works the room rather than the stage: roaming close-up between tables at a drinks reception, or seated magic between courses at dinner — equally suited to corporate evenings, private parties, weddings and charity galas.
