City String Ensemble

Founded at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama by Sophie Poteratchi, City String Ensemble has spent a decade redefining what event strings sound like — pairing conservatoire pedigree with a repertoire that runs from Bridgerton-style pop covers to cinematic film and game scores. The ensemble performed at Netflix's Bridgerton Season 2 world premiere and served as the official ensemble for the Taylor Swift, Coldplay and Lana Del Rey UK tour celebrations at Wembley Park. Brand and stage credits include Krug Champagne, Live Nation and Ministry of Sound Classical at The O2, with recording work at Abbey Road and AIR Studios and more than 600,000 Spotify streams across their cover EPs. At home in London's most storied rooms — Claridge's, The Savoy, The Dorchester, Raffles at The OWO, The Corinthia, Cliveden House, the Tower of London, Kensington Palace and St James's Palace — they scale from the signature quartet to a cinematic octet or full chamber orchestra.
