LAB54 Modular LED Tube System

Rather than creating a fixed, one-location installation, the brief focused on developing a reusable lighting system that could travel seamlessly between venues and adapt to a wide range of event formats—from intimate club nights to larger-scale productions—while still delivering a consistent, premium visual identity. The goal was to give LAB54 a recognisable “look” that could be recreated anywhere, without needing to redesign or rebuild the lighting from scratch each time. The result was a fully modular, plug-and-play LED tube system designed with efficiency at its core. Each element was pre-configured for fast deployment, allowing the setup to be installed, powered, and controlled with minimal technical complexity. This approach removes the typical challenges of bespoke lighting builds—such as lengthy programming, intricate rigging, and custom fabrication—replacing them with a streamlined system that can be set up quickly by a production team while still achieving a high-impact, design-led result. In practice, this means LAB54 can walk into almost any venue and rapidly transform the space into a visually cohesive environment that feels intentional and high-end, without compromising on speed, flexibility, or production quality.
